From the first Sunday of Advent to Epiphany, these events create a magical holiday atmosphere.

Star Singers Bless Europa-Park

On January 5, 2025, visitors to Europa-Park will witness the grand conclusion of the Christmas season as approximately 100 Star Singers from Germany, France, and Switzerland gather. Starting at 11 a.m., they will deliver the traditional blessing “Christus mansionem benedicat – Christ bless this house” at the entrance to the “Voletarium” attraction. This cherished tradition combines festive cheer with a reflective moment to welcome the new year.

Advent Service at Hotel Santa Isabel

The 2024 holiday season kicks off on December 1 with a special Advent service hosted by the “Church in Europa-Park.” Under the theme “Praising the Star That Stands Out,” Deacons Andrea Ziegler and Thomas Schneeberger will lead the service in the beautifully decorated Hotel Santa Isabel. Open to all visitors seeking to embrace the Christmas spirit, the service begins at 2:30 p.m. and offers a peaceful, reflective experience.

“The Sparkling Bumble Journey” – A Joyful Christmas Tale

On five dates in December (8th, 15th, 20th, 22nd, and 23rd), Europa-Park’s mascot Joy will star in the interactive story “The Sparkling Bumble Journey.” Held at the “Narrenscheune” in the German-themed area, this charming tale follows Joy on a festive quest to find Christmas gifts. Running between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., the 10-minute performances provide a delightful pause for families with young children.

St. Nicholas Brings Gifts to the Scandinavian-themed Area

On December 8, 2024, the beloved St. Nicholas will appear near the stave church in Europa-Park's Scandinavian-themed area. Handing out small gifts to visitors, St. Nicholas promises heartwarming encounters and festive joy. This event combines traditional holiday customs with a magical family experience.

Advent Reflections in the Jakobus Chapel

The Jakobus Chapel at Hotel Santa Isabel offers moments of peace and spiritual contemplation during the Advent season. These brief reflections are scheduled for December 8 at 9:30 a.m., December 14 at 7:30 p.m., and December 22 at 9:30 a.m. The serene chapel setting invites visitors to step away from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season and embrace the true meaning of Christmas.

A Celebration for All: Family-Friendly Festivities

The events hosted by the “Church in Europa-Park” seamlessly complement the park’s festive atmosphere. From the reflective Advent service to the lively “Sparkling Bumble Journey” and the solemn blessing by the Star Singers, these offerings ensure something for everyone. Encounters with St. Nicholas and other surprises round out a truly unforgettable holiday experience at Europa-Park.
