On September 1, 2023, it was that time of the year again: The renowned Europa-Park rolled out the metaphorical red carpet for 132 young talents, welcoming them to the dazzling world of the Adventure Resort and MACK Rides. Now boasting a total of 220 apprentices and students honing their skills in over 45 different training and study programs, Europa-Park firmly establishes itself as one of the leading training companies in the region.
Interestingly, Europa-Park's appeal is international. Young individuals from countries such as Kyrgyzstan, South Africa, and Peru flock to Rust and Waldkirch, lured by the opportunity to realize their professional dreams here. Frederik Mack, the Director of Human Resources, emphasized during the formal welcome: "Europa-Park is more than just an educational institution. It's a place where teamwork, community, and mutual support are celebrated."
Another testament to the park's ongoing success is the impressive fulfillment of 99% of the training positions offered this year. Adding to this achievement, the German Hotel and Restaurant Association (DEHOGA) awarded Europa-Park the coveted "TOP Training Company" seal of approval. This stamp of excellence underscores the continuous and high-quality effort invested here in the training of young individuals.
Yet, the connection to these young talents doesn't end with the completion of their training. A staggering 96% of graduates are offered the chance to continue working at the park – a clear indication that the Mack family sees the future of Europa-Park in the hands of these promising young individuals. It's a win-win for everyone involved.
