Europa-Park to Open “Kinderhaus Kleine Helden” in 2026 to Support Families in Need

Europa-Park is making a strong statement of compassion in 2025 by initiating the construction of the “Kinderhaus Kleine Helden.” This project, part of the park’s 50th anniversary celebrations, is designed to offer families with children recovering from cancer a complimentary stay, filled with joy and relaxation. A Unique Project: “Kinderhaus Kleine Helden”

Scheduled for completion in spring 2026, the “Kinderhaus Kleine Helden” will be tailored to the needs of families with children who have overcome cancer. After years of challenging treatments, the facility will provide a sanctuary for healing and family bonding. Located in Europa-Park’s Camp Resort, near a new guest and building complex, the house will be ideally situated to offer both tranquility and access to the park’s attractions.

Diverse Activities and Recreational Opportunities

During their five-day stay, families can look forward to a well-rounded itinerary. Visits to Europa-Park and the Rulantica water world will be complemented by excursions to the Taubergießen nature reserve, Freiburg, and Strasbourg. These activities aim to help families escape the pressures of everyday life and create lasting memories.

Dedicated Volunteer Support

The families will be cared for by retired Europa-Park employees volunteering their time. These volunteers will receive specialized training to better understand the unique needs of the children and their families. The project’s realization is heavily supported by the “Stiftung RTL – Wir helfen Kindern e.V.” foundation, which has invested over €287 million in children’s aid projects since 1996. The “Kinderhaus Kleine Helden” will be a focal point of the RTL Charity Marathon on November 21 and 22, 2024.
