Europa-Park is planning a spectacular expansion of its Camp Resort. By 2026, the "Silver Lake City" will come to life as an authentic Western town, combining adventure and relaxation in a unique setting. Guests can look forward to a completely revamped area featuring new accommodations, culinary highlights, interactive attractions, and social initiatives.
An Authentic Western Experience for Guests
"Silver Lake City" will be a standalone experience that captures the essence of the Wild West. Roland Mack, owner of Europa-Park, describes the project as an immersive environment designed to bring the spirit of the American frontier to life.Currently, guests are already captivated by the Camp Resort's wagons, log cabins, tipi tents, and campfire spots. This expansion will significantly enhance the offerings with new attractions and infrastructure while maintaining the area's authentic atmosphere.
The redesigned area will feature a Western street with a full façade of buildings and a spacious plaza, creating a lively hub for exploration. The familiar campfire spots and scenic lake will remain integral parts of the experience, further reinforcing the Wild West ambiance.
Expanded Accommodations
By the 50th-anniversary season of Europa-Park in summer 2025, the first new accommodation options will be ready for guests. These include additional Western Houses in a log cabin style and upgraded caravan comfort pitches. The centerpiece of this expansion will be a new guesthouse in the style of the American West, set to open in 2026, offering over 100 rooms.Once completed, the "Silver Lake City" will accommodate over 2,000 guests—significantly more than the current capacity of 1,400. The accommodations will range from simple camping spots to luxurious rooms, ensuring something for everyone, from families to individual adventurers.
Culinary Highlights and Modern Attractions
A standout feature of "Silver Lake City" will be the buffet restaurant "Diner Station," designed to resemble a classic Western train station complete with a meticulously reconstructed train. Nearby, the "Wild Horse Bar" will offer beverages, including a custom-crafted Europa-Park beer produced by an on-site brewery. In addition to traditional Western vibes, Europa-Park will introduce cutting-edge technology. Guests will enjoy an immersive experience through YULLBE GO, an interactive virtual reality attraction that brings the Wild West to life in a thrilling new way.
