The festive event took place in Europa-Park’s Ballsaal Berlin, where the evening was dedicated to recognizing the loyalty and commitment of these valued team members.
Awards for 20 to 45 Years of Service
The awards celebrated employees who have been with Europa-Park for 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, and even 45 years. The certificates were presented by Jürgen Mack, owner of Europa-Park, along with HR Director Frederik Mack and Dr. Dieter Salomon, Chief Executive of the Chamber of Commerce (IHK) Southern Upper Rhine. Special recognition was given to employees with 40 years of service, who received a certificate signed by Minister-President Winfried Kretschmann. These were presented by Rust’s mayor, Dr. Kai-Achim Klare.
The Importance of Long-Standing Employees to Europa-Park
In his speech, Jürgen Mack expressed gratitude on behalf of the entire Mack family to the honorees for their hard work and dedication. He emphasized that these employees play a vital role in the park’s continued success. “The Mittelstand (SME sector) secures our prosperity and is the economic engine for Germany. Europa-Park has been a reliable employer for 50 years, offering exciting roles and a secure workplace. Your decades of loyalty and dedication are the foundation of our family business’s success,” Mack stated.
Special Recognitions and Gifts
In addition to receiving honorary certificates, the long-standing employees and retirees were also presented with gift baskets from their respective directors. Employees with 25 and 40 years of service were particularly highlighted, as they were awarded special IHK certificates in recognition of their long-standing contributions.
