Topping-Out Ceremony in Ringsheim: A Major Milestone for the Employee Housing Project

This past Wednesday, Europa-Park held the topping-out ceremony for its new employee housing complex in Ringsheim. The construction of this modern building reflects the park's commitment to providing its employees with attractive housing close to the workplace and the Rulantica Water World. With short commutes and convenient access to public transportation, this housing solution is designed to optimize the living experience for its employees.

Modern Design for Enhanced Sustainability and Comfort

The Ringsheim housing complex provides accommodation for 99 employees across the Europa-Park group and incorporates advanced hybrid construction, complemented by a rooftop photovoltaic system. This modern design contributes to energy efficiency and underscores Europa-Park’s commitment to sustainable innovation. Ann-Kathrin Mack, a Europa-Park shareholder and head of MACK Solutions, highlighted the importance of this forward-thinking architecture and praised the close collaboration with the Ringsheim community, which actively supported the project.

The importance of comfort and community for employees

With over 5,000 employees from more than 100 nations, Europa-Park places great importance on a welcoming and social workplace atmosphere. Frederik Mack, shareholder and director of human resources, emphasized the importance of a strong sense of community in employee housing. The housing complex in Ringsheim is ideally suited to this, as it offers not only proximity to the workplace but also excellent public transport connections. Mack also highlighted the significance of harmonious relations with the local community and residents, which this project further supports.

Support from the Community: Appreciation and Partnership

The role of the Ringsheim community as a supportive partner was emphasized by Mayor Pascal Weber, who described Europa-Park as a key employer and taxpayer for the town. He praised the collaboration, which helps facilitate both accommodation and employee retention. Weber described Europa-Park as a reliable and responsible partner for Ringsheim and highlighted the importance of this partnership for the town’s development.

A Future-Oriented Investment to Strengthen Employer Branding

The new housing complex in Ringsheim is part of a broader Europa-Park investment to enhance the quality of life and satisfaction of its employees. In addition to creating modern accommodations, the project aims to foster an environment that balances professional growth and personal well-being. Through this initiative, Europa-Park intends to strengthen its position as an attractive employer in the region while also underscoring the company’s social and ecological values.
