A Magical Kickoff: The Nordic Light Festival in Rulantica

The anniversary season began on January 13, 2025, with the Nordic Light Festival at the Rulantica water world. Until March 21, visitors can immerse themselves in a magical atmosphere with stunning illuminations, captivating shows, and unique entertainment. This enchanting festival marks the start of the celebrations for Europa-Park’s 50th anniversary in spectacular fashion.

A Summer Full of Attractions, Shows, and Summer Night Parties

Europa-Park officially opens its summer season on March 22, 2025. Visitors can look forward to numerous innovations and activities honoring this milestone. Two Summer Night Parties stand out as key events: the first on July 12, celebrating the park's official birthday, and another on August 23, marking the 10th anniversary of the Europa-Park JUNIOR CLUB. “Europa.Gemeinsam.Erleben.” – A Year of Cultural Diversity

Central to the anniversary year is the theme “Europa.Gemeinsam.Erleben.” (“Europe.Together.Experience.”). Events spread across the year include highlights like the French Festival on July 14 or the German Festival on October 4 and 5. New Family Attraction: “GRAND PRIX EDventure”

Starting in spring 2025, the new family attraction “GRAND PRIX EDventure” will debut in the Luxembourg-themed area. This interactive experience transforms guests into members of Ed & Edda’s Racing Crew, racing through European countries. The attraction is inspired by the movie “GRAND PRIX OF EUROPE”, a collaboration between MACK Magic and Warner Bros. Film Productions Germany. Michael Mack, managing partner of Europa-Park, serves as the film's producer, seamlessly blending cinema and theme park adventures.

A Bird’s Eye View: The Hot Air Balloon Event

One of the most unique highlights of the anniversary celebrations is the hot air balloon event, scheduled for May 1–3, 2025. Over 20 hot air balloons will take to the skies, offering breathtaking views of Europa-Park, the Rhine Valley, the Black Forest, and the Vosges Mountains. A specially designed anniversary balloon adds a symbolic touch to this extraordinary experience, creating unforgettable moments for all participants.

A Spectacular Finale: DJ BoBo ARENA Tour

Concluding the anniversary year, DJ BoBo will bring his “DJ BoBo ARENA Tour” to the Europa-Park Arena from January 15 to 17, 2026.
