Europa-Park and Rulantica win multiple top awards at the 2024 European Star Awards

Europa-Park and the water world Rulantica continue to rank among the best theme and water parks in Europe. At the “European Star Awards” and the “Park World Excellence Awards” in September 2024, both parks received multiple prestigious awards. Europa-Park was named “Europe's Best Theme Park,” and the coaster “Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac” was honored as the “Best New Coaster in Europe.” Rulantica also received high recognition as the second-best water park in Europe.

Europa-Park Named Best Theme Park in Europe

At the IAAPA Expo Europe in Amsterdam, the largest trade fair in the leisure industry, Europa-Park was once again named “Europe's Best Theme Park” in September 2024. This title was awarded by the magazine Kirmes & Park Revue as part of the “European Star Awards.” Germany's largest theme park once again solidified its position as a leader among European parks.

A particular highlight of the awards was the recognition of the Multi Launch Coaster “Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac,” which was honored as “Europe's Best New Coaster.” This cutting-edge attraction impresses with its unique technology and offers visitors an exhilarating and intense ride experience.

Second Place for Rulantica as the Best Water Park in Europe

The water world Rulantica also impressed at the European Star Awards, earning second place in the category of “Europe's Best Water Parks.” Since its opening, Rulantica has developed into a popular destination for water fun, offering a wide range of innovative attractions, slides, and relaxation options.

Top Awards for Individual Attractions at Europa-Park

In addition to the main awards, Europa-Park also received recognition for several individual attractions. The family attraction “ARTHUR” took third place in the category of “Europe's Best Family Attractions.” The “Voletarium,” a flying theater that takes visitors on a virtual journey over Europe, also secured third place in the category of “Europe's Best Indoor Attractions.”

The family-friendly coaster “Alpenexpress Enzian” earned fourth place in the category of “Europe's Best New Family Attractions.” This classic coaster has remained a favorite with visitors over the years.

The water coaster “Poseidon” also scored well, landing sixth place in the category of “Europe's Best Water Attractions.” Additionally, the wooden coaster “WODAN – Timburcoaster” was ranked sixth in the category of “Europe's Best Wooden Coasters.”

MACK Rides Dominates with New Coaster Innovations

Another significant achievement was made by MACK Rides, the German manufacturer responsible for producing the best new coasters of 2024. In addition to “Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac” at Europa-Park, “Hyperia” at Thorpe Park in the UK was also recognized as one of the best new coasters of the year. This highlights MACK Rides' ongoing innovation and excellence in roller coaster design.

“Vikingløp” at Rulantica Among the Best Water Slides in Europe

Rulantica’s gigantic water slide “Vikingløp” also made waves, securing fourth place in the category of “Europe's Best Water Slides.” As the largest speed slide in Europe, this attraction is a highlight for thrill-seekers and contributes to the overall appeal of the water park.

The European Star Award as a Benchmark for Quality in the Leisure Industry

The “European Star Award” has been awarded for the 13th time this year and is one of the most prestigious accolades in the European theme and water park industry. An international, independent jury of experts chose the best parks and attractions in Europe across 15 categories. The 2024 European Star Awards once again confirmed Europa-Park and Rulantica's prominent position in the European leisure market.
