Around 1,400 craftsmen gathered in the Europa-Park Arena to celebrate their successful construction projects. These included the new Croatian-themed area with the roller coaster “Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac” and the reopening of attractions in the Austrian-themed area.

Background and Construction Projects

Europa-Park recently opened its new Croatian-themed area, featuring the roller coaster “Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac” as the highlight. After two years of construction, this attraction was officially inaugurated. Simultaneously, the Austrian-themed area saw the reopening of “Alpenexpress Enzian” and “Tiroler Wildwasserbahn,” both modernized and complemented by the “Magic Diamond Gorge” and the “Yomi Adventure Trail.”

In parallel, approximately 40 other construction projects were underway. Among these was the new “Welcome Center,” serving as a central point for new employees. Additional significant projects included the expansion of the Camp Resort, the construction of a new fire station for the company fire brigade, and the establishment of a new energy center at the Rulantica water world. These efforts are part of a long-term strategy to ensure the park's future viability.

Celebration and Appreciation

As a token of appreciation for their dedication and hard work, the Mack family invited the craftsmen and project participants to a celebration in the Europa-Park Arena. A total of 1,400 guests attended the event, which featured a varied program, including exclusive rides and performances. Roland Mack, owner of Europa-Park, expressed his gratitude to the craftsmen and emphasized their crucial role in the park's success. “Your work is a vital part of our success. Many of you have been with us for years, some since the park's founding,” Mack said. He particularly highlighted the importance of craftsmanship for the mid-sized business sector, noting that “Made in Germany” continues to be a mark of quality thanks to the outstanding efforts of local craftsmen.

Voices of the Officials

Ann-Kathrin Mack and Charles Botta of MACK Solutions also expressed their admiration for the craftsmen's achievements in their speeches. They emphasized the value of each individual's contribution to the success of the projects and conveyed their thanks. “We are proud of the successful collaboration and the impressive results achieved in such a short time,” said Ann-Kathrin Mack.
