Europa-Park captivates its visitors not only with spectacular attractions but also with inspiring stories. One such story is that of Corentin Munch, who fulfilled his dream of going from an enthusiastic park visitor to becoming a key member of the team behind the new “Voltron Nevera” roller coaster.

Corentin Munch’s Journey to the “Voltron Nevera” Team

Corentin Munch, a young Frenchman with a deep passion for Europa-Park, has undergone a remarkable journey. From an early age, he dreamed of becoming part of the team that brings the park to life. In the summer of 2022, he took his first step by starting as a seasonal worker at the Euro-Mir roller coaster, where he was immediately fascinated by the world behind the scenes.

After his first season, Corentin moved on to the ARTHUR attraction, where he continued to gain valuable experience. His enthusiasm for working at the park eventually led him to make the bold decision to leave school and fully dedicate himself to his newfound passion. For the 2023–2024 season, he found a new challenge with the blue fire Megacoaster, one of the park’s most iconic rides.

Becoming Part of the New Highlight: Voltron Nevera

But Corentin wanted more. The idea of being part of a groundbreaking new project never left his mind. He successfully applied to join the team for the then-under-construction “Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac” roller coaster. This multi-launch coaster, which opened in April 2024, set new standards for thrilling experiences with its seven inversions and unique ride dynamics.

Even before the official opening, Corentin had the opportunity to participate in test runs and help prepare for the massive influx of visitors. The excitement of the first riders confirmed to him that he had made the right choice.

Challenges and Daily Responsibilities

In his current role at “Voltron Nevera,” Corentin Munch is not only responsible for checking safety restraints and cleaning the trains, but also for preparing for the daily flow of visitors. He takes particular pride in helping guests overcome their fears and providing them with the best possible ride experience.

“When I can encourage guests and help them conquer their fears, that’s the greatest success for me,” says Corentin. For him, guest safety is always the top priority, and he is committed to ensuring that every visitor feels completely secure.

Personal growth and language skills

Working at Europa-Park has not only shaped Corentin’s career but also his language skills. As an Alsatian, he had basic German knowledge from school, but through daily interactions with guests and colleagues, he has significantly improved his fluency.

From Visitor to Role Model

Corentin Munch’s story is an inspiration for many who dream of transitioning from a passionate visitor to a member of the team. His journey shows that, with dedication and passion, anything is possible. Now, as part of the Europa-Park team, he fondly remembers the times when he visited the park as a guest and dreamed of one day working there.
