Summer at Europa-Park offers numerous ways to cool down on hot days. With our five practical tips, visitors can fully enjoy the amusement park despite the high temperatures.
Thrilling Water Rides
On hot summer days, Europa-Park offers plenty of water attractions for the perfect cool-down. Adrenaline seekers shouldn’t miss the water coasters “Poseidon” and “Atlantica SuperSplash.” For a more intense refreshment, “Fjord Rafting” guarantees a soaking experience. Additionally, the “Tirol Log Flume” in the Diamond Magic Forest not only cools you off but also features the new “Yomi Adventure Trail” with many surprises. A splashy duel with water pistols awaits visitors at “Whale Adventures – Northern Lights.”
Enjoying Ice Cream
A visit to Europa-Park wouldn’t be complete without a refreshing ice cream break. At the “Magnum Pleasure Store,” guests can create their custom Magnum ice cream with various coatings and toppings. The “Langnese Happiness Station” near “Silver Star” lets visitors craft their own ice swirl. The new ice cream café “Sunce i Lavanda” offers over 20 flavors of Carte D’Or ice cream and the unique ice cream burger, featuring cold gelato in a warm brioche bun.
Cool Indoor Retreats
When the heat becomes too much, Europa-Park’s indoor attractions provide a welcome respite. The “Magic Cinema 4D” is currently showing the short film “Voltron 4D,” which tells the story of Nikola Tesla. The “Dreamtime Dome” features the 360° animation film “Nikola Tesla’s Beautiful Croatia.” Other cool experiences include “Snorri Touren” and “Pirates in Batavia.”
Fun on the Water Playgrounds
For families and children, the water playgrounds at Europa-Park are ideal for cooling down and having fun. Popular locations include the water playground in Adventureland, the Water-Stone Path in Germany, Paul’s Playboat in Ireland, the suspension bridge and ferry in Scandinavia, and the adventure playground in Spain. The “Lítill Island – hansgrohe Water Playground” will soon reopen.
Essential gear for hot days
Be well-prepared for summer at Europa-Park: A water bottle helps ensure you stay hydrated, while caps provide sun protection. A towel is also handy for drying off after water rides.
