The charity jewelry collection “Mauritia Mack by LEONARDO” has once again made a significant contribution to supporting children's aid projects. At an exclusive event in Europa-Park, an impressive €14,500 was raised for the “Family Mentors” project of the Ortenau Child Protection Association.

Glamorous Event at Europa-Park

In the historic castle park of Europa-Park, an exclusive jewelry event took place under the bright summer sun. The event was dedicated to the charity jewelry collection “Mauritia Mack by LEONARDO,” which has been supporting social projects since 2010.

Impressive Donation Record

In 2023, the collection raised €14,500 for the “Family Mentors” project of the Ortenau Child Protection Association. Since the beginning of the collaboration between Europa-Park and the LEONARDO brand, around €300,000 has been donated to various children's aid projects. In 2024, the donation will go to the international education project “Patio13 – Education for Street Children in Colombia.”

Collaboration and Commitment

Mauritia Mack, deputy chairwoman of the Ortenau Child Protection Association, emphasized the shared mission: “When we exchange ideas, I always feel that our hearts beat for the same cause and that we want to make a difference in society together.” She is supported by Bianca and Oliver Kleine, owners and managing directors of the glaskoch company with the LEONARDO brand, as well as Jürgen Mack, one of the owners of Europa-Park.

Support for Numerous Projects

Since 2010, Europa-Park and LEONARDO have supported numerous children's aid projects. These include the parents' house at the University Children's Clinic in Freiburg (2011) and the European House of Encounter for socially disadvantaged youth on the Way of St. James in northern Spain (2012). In 2013, the maternity home at the Santa Ana Children's Clinic in El Salvador was supported, followed by the children's and youth hospice service “KiJu” in Ortenau in 2014.

In 2015, support went to the girls' house of the Don Bosco Mission in Bangalore, India, while in 2016, the farm school Baumgartsbrunn in Namibia benefited. A year later, in 2017, the “Mon Devoir” school north of Lomé in Togo was supported. The Ortenau Children's Clinic in Offenburg received support in 2018, and in 2019, aid went to the Federal Association for Children's Hospices in Lenzkirch.

In 2020, the International Catholic Mission Work in Aachen was supported, and in 2021, the LUCY Aid Organization – Education for Children in Breisach. In 2022, the parents' initiative for children with heart conditions in Southern Baden, through the “Herzklopfen” project, received support. In 2023, donations were collected for the “Family Mentors” project of the Ortenau Child Protection Association.

Social responsibility and transparency

The “Family Mentors” project supports families and children in challenging situations with the help of volunteers. “The projects we choose benefit children and young people worldwide. Transparency about our projects, the work we do, and the support we provide is particularly important to me,” said Mauritia Mack.

Positive Impact

The financial support from the charity jewelry collection enables various national and international children's aid projects to be promoted. These projects help overcome social isolation and offer practical support in challenging situations.
