Maypole Ceremony with Musical Accompaniment
In a festive ceremony, the carpenters from Ganter Carpentry, together with Roland, Jürgen, Mauritia, and Frederik Mack, raised the Maypole. This event was splendidly accompanied by 55 musicians from the Hinterzarten Traditional Band, adding a special flair to the occasion.
Adventures in the Croatian Thematic Area
Following the Maypole ceremony, the carpenters experienced adventures in the Croatian thematic area of Europa-Park, riding the new multi-launch coaster “Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac.” The ride, set against a backdrop of bright limestone and lush plants, left a lasting impression on the craftsmen due to its meticulous craftsmanship.
Admiration for the Wooden Structure of WODAN – Timburcoaster
Another highlight was the ride on the wooden roller coaster, “WODAN-Timburcoaster.” The carpenters, who had contributed to the construction of the Scandinavian thematic area in 1992, were impressed by the wooden structure of the coaster.
Europa-Park’s Commitment to the Construction Industry
Roland Mack, owner of Europa-Park, emphasized the importance of collaborating with regional craft businesses. For the years 2023 and 2024, the Europa-Park Resort plans to invest a significant double-digit million in the construction sector, which is a positive signal, especially during challenging economic times for the construction industry.
