"Alpenexpress Enzian" & "Tiroler Wildwasserbahn" Shine Anew, "Yomi Adventure Trail" Invites Explorers

In 2024, Europa-Park Resort reintroduces its classic attractions with a fresh look and exciting new adventures. The "Alpenexpress Enzian" and the "Tiroler Wildwasserbahn" have been revitalized in the Austrian-themed area, while the "Yomi Adventure Trail" beckons the adventurous to the heights of the "Magic Gorge of Diamonds."

Classics Revitalized in the Austrian-themed Area

The redesign of the "Alpenexpress Enzian" and "Tiroler Wildwasserbahn" marks one of the 2024 highlights at Europa-Park Resort. These attractions, originally introduced in the 1980s, are steeped in the park's history and now offer a modernized experience that blends tradition with innovation.

The "Alpenexpress Enzian": A Family Adventure

The "Alpenexpress Enzian," a powered coaster from MACK Rides, offers guests a high-speed journey through the picturesque Austrian mountains. Reaching speeds up to 45 km/h, the ride snakes through the impressive "Magic Gorge of Diamonds," a man-made mountain landscape consisting of 6,000 sqm of rockwork and 2,600 m³ of concrete. The track, extending 360 meters, takes passengers on two laps, doubling the ride length to 720 meters.

New Virtual Reality Adventures

In addition to the physical coaster, the "Alpenexpress Coastiality" features the VR adventure "Fina & the Yomis - Magic World of Diamonds VR," taking guests on a virtual carriage ride through enchanted cave landscapes. This experience adds a dimensional and immersive layer to the ride. Six additional VR adventures are available, exploring various thematic worlds.

The "Tiroler Wildwasserbahn": A Splashy Ride with History

The "Tiroler Wildwasserbahn," another creation by MACK Rides, has retained its allure since its opening in 1978. Passengers navigate the "Magic Gorge of Diamonds" in log flume boats, passing by waterfalls up to 10 meters high. The journey, beginning with a climb to 18 meters, culminates in a swift descent, lasts 4:30 minutes, and can accommodate 1,600 riders per hour.

Explorer Spirit on the "Yomi Adventure Trail"

The newly conceived "Yomi Adventure Trail" offers an exciting route for brave explorers. This path features suspension bridges, climbing sections, and water features, reaching up to 12 meters in height and concluding in the mysterious "Gemstone Grotto." Here, visitors can delve into the magical world of the Yomis and discover a wide selection of jewelry and interactive elements.

Gemstone Grotto: A Dazzling Shopping Experience

The "Gemstone Grotto" offers visitors a variety of gemstones and crystals, along with numerous surprises related to the legendary Yomis. The shop, located at the heart of the Austrian-themed area, provides a fascinating combination of shopping experience and interactive exploration.
