Around 200 foster children and their families from Pforzheim and the Enzkreis region experienced another unforgettable day at Europa-Park this year. This trip, organized in cooperation with the Pforzheim-based jewelry company Rauschmayer, has developed into a cherished tradition over the past 27 years.
Long-Standing Tradition for Foster Children
What started in 1997 with just three foster children has now grown into an annual highlight, where around 200 foster children and their families are invited each year. Today, the event is carried on by the sons of the late entrepreneur Roland Rauschmayer. The goal of this initiative is to give the children carefree moments and create lasting memories.
An Exciting Day at Europa-Park
The foster children were warmly greeted at the start of the day by Europa-Park's mascot, “Ed Euromaus.” After a group photo at the main entrance, the children had the opportunity to explore the park’s 17 themed areas and enjoy over 100 attractions and shows, making for an adventure-filled day. The focus was not only on having fun but also on building connections and fostering interaction among the children. The day concluded with a group pizza meal, where everyone reflected on the day's exciting experiences in a relaxed atmosphere.
Social Commitment at Europa-Park
In addition to the annual trip for foster children, Europa-Park also demonstrates its commitment to social responsibility through other initiatives. Every year, the Mack family hosts the “Frohe Herzen” event, where tens of thousands of socially disadvantaged individuals are invited to visit the park free of charge. With these actions, Europa-Park underscores its dedication to making meaningful contributions to society and providing unforgettable experiences for those who may not otherwise have the opportunity.
