On Sunday, the TALENT ACADEMY at Europa-Park in Rust celebrated its ten-year anniversary. The academy hosted an open house to honor its successful past years and offered insights into its diverse programs.
A Decade of Fostering Talent
Since its inception in 2014, the TALENT ACADEMY has evolved into a significant institution in Rust. Founder Katja Mack and her team have created an environment that not only offers children and teenagers, but also adults recently, opportunities to express themselves creatively in dance, music, art, and acrobatics. Over 400 members attend more than 110 courses each week, instructed by 40 certified international coaches.
Relocation and New Opportunities
Last September, the academy moved to a new building equipped with eight modern studios. This step was a critical milestone, allowing all courses, except for ice skating, to be held under one roof. Additionally, the academy introduced a “Mindset” section, which offers inspiring lectures and coaching sessions.
Events and Achievements
Members of the TALENT ACADEMY have numerous opportunities to showcase their skills. Highlights include the “Broadway Dreams Show,” the “Talent Show,” and the “Surprise Show,” where participants collaborate with professionals from the entertainment industry and perform in front of large audiences. Furthermore, they regularly participate in international competitions and gain valuable experience in TV productions and various performances worldwide.
A Day of Open Doors Full of Inspiration
To celebrate its tenth anniversary, the academy offered a wide range of workshops. Visitors had the chance to try their hands at dance, acrobatics, music, and art. The day's highlights were performances in aerial acrobatics and a contemporary dance by the Contemporary Group, accompanied by music from TALENT ACADEMY DJ Aaron, who ensured a lively atmosphere.
