Across various stalls and dining locations, unique flavors await visitors, available exclusively during the winter season at Efteling.

New Specialties for Winter at Efteling

This year, Efteling has introduced several new delights to enhance guests' winter experience. On the Warme Winter Weide, guests can savor the freshly baked croissant roll (€5), dipped in white chocolate and decorated with winter sprinkles. The warm apple mocktail, available at various stalls, combines apple juice, fresh apple, and orange with a cinnamon stick, creating a comforting, non-alcoholic drink. Another highlight is the winter burger with Brie (€9) at the Burger Backery, featuring creamy Brie, walnuts, lettuce, and honey-mustard sauce.

Warm Winter Drinks

For cold days, Efteling offers various warm, winter drinks. Alongside the warm apple mocktail and the popular hazelnut hot chocolate, guests can enjoy a mulled wine specialty and the coffee specialty with Schrobbelèr, a traditional Dutch herbal liqueur that provides a rich taste experience. At De Verkleumde Kompel, visitors can also create their own Chocomel specialty, selecting from different syrups and toppings to customize their drink.

Exclusive mocktails at Polles Keuken and ’t Poffertje

For fans of alcohol-free cocktails, Efteling offers two special winter mocktails at Polles Keuken and ’t Poffertje. The Fairy Forest mocktail combines Fanta Orange with blood orange, dried orange, and star anise for a fruity-spicy flavor. The Winter Twilight mocktail is made with Coca-Cola Zero, cinnamon, orange, rosemary, and a cinnamon stick, delivering a warm and spicy taste. Both mocktails are available for €5.75, with an optional splash of rum for an additional €4.50 (available only to guests over 18).

Sweet Treats for the Winter Season

Efteling also delights guests with various sweet winter specialties. The croissant roll (€5), dipped in white chocolate and decorated with seasonal sprinkles, can be found at the Warme Winter Weide. The popular cinnamon roll (€3.50), available at Bäckerei Krümel, De Gebrande Boon, and De Verkleumde Kompel, returns due to high demand from previous winters. Another treat is the winter Rocky Road waffle (€5), adorned with blue M&M’s, mini marshmallows, and pieces of Stroopwafel, available at In den Hoorn des Overvloeds, De Kombuys, and the gastronomy chalet in Ruigrijk. At Den Suykerbuyk, visitors can find the waffle on a stick (€4), decorated in a winter-themed look with blue chocolate and mini meringues. The sparkling cotton candy Winterspin (€4) is available at 't Suyker Huys, De Kombuys, and De Flierefluiter. In the Sprookjesbos near Langnek, Kogeloog serves a seasonal Stroopwafel specialty (€4.25), enhanced with white chocolate, cinnamon sugar, and a winter-themed topping.

Savory Snacks to Satisfy Winter Appetites

For those who prefer savory options, Efteling offers several winter specialties. The Broodje Unox “Chili Cheese Style” (€6.50) is available at the Smaeckmaker and Unox Chalets, adding a spicy cheese-chili twist to the classic Unox hot dog. On the Warme Winter Weide, guests can also enjoy Worstenbroodjes by Keilekker (€3.50), traditional Brabant sausage rolls, freshly prepared and seasoned. A vegetarian option is also available. The winter season wouldn't be complete without pea soup (€4.50), available at Het Witte Paard, Smaeckmaker, ’t Gebraad, and De Verse Oogst. The winter tosti with Brie (€5.75), made with Brie, cranberry compote, and walnuts, is offered at In de Gelaarsde Kat, located just across from the exit of the Sprookjesbos.
