The Efteling announces that the Efteling Hotel will undergo a comprehensive renovation of the ground floor in early 2025. During this period, the hotel will be closed from January 6 to April 17, 2025.
Renovation of the First Floor and New Entrance Area
Following the modernization of rooms in 2021 and the redesign of the exterior facade in 2023, the focus is now on the first floor of the Efteling Hotel. The renovation includes a complete redesign of all areas, including relocating the entrance to the southwestern corner of the building. Directly behind the new, impressive doors, guests will find a luxurious lobby featuring showcases displaying various Efteling souvenirs.
New Dining Area
From the lobby, guests can access a spaciously designed dining area. Starting in spring 2025, this area will be the perfect place for breakfast, coffee breaks, drinks at the bar, or from the menu dinners. The dining area will be open to both hotel guests and park visitors.
Child-Friendly Design
A highlight of the new dining area is the specially designed control room of the airship for children. This play area offers interactive buttons, wheels, and gears, allowing children to playfully navigate the course of the airship.
