An exclusive glimpse into Efteling's newest attraction, Danse Macabre, captivates the amusement park community. A recent photo report shared on Facebook provides impressive insights into the unfinished interior of this exciting medieval abbey-themed ride.

Behind Medieval Walls

The photos, taken by an employee of Kanters Betonvloeren and commissioned by Efteling for the project, offer a rare look into the heart of Danse Macabre. They reveal the developing interior queue of the attraction, complete with intricately designed walls and narrow passages, adorned with arches and stones depicting eerie faces.

An Unfinished Masterpiece

At the time of the photographs, the decor was still a work in progress. The structures and elements inside had not yet received their final coloration. Interestingly, above the two arches are stones bearing the Roman numerals I and II, intended to guide visitor groups in the future. Instead of the final lighting, temporary light tubes are currently installed.

A Collaboration Full of Secrets

Kanters Betonvloeren, based in Geldrop, realized this part of the project in collaboration with TH Beton, as revealed in a Facebook post by the company. Despite the prohibition on external suppliers publishing material from their work without permission, these revealing images became public. Similar incidents have occurred recently, including the accidental release of a photo of a Danse Macabre animatronic.

The leaked images of Danse Macabre at Efteling offer a fascinating preview of what visitors can expect. As the attraction receives its final touches, anticipation builds for the ultimate experience in this unique medieval abbey-themed attraction.
