The Europalaan, the access road to Efteling in Kaatsheuvel, will soon become greener. In the coming period, the theme park and the municipality of Loon op Zand will collaborate to greet visitors with a fairytale-like charm upon arrival while enhancing the public space for everyone.
Green Entrance to Efteling
The Efteling experience will begin right at the Europalaan in the future. The access road will be beautified in the coming months, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the magical atmosphere as soon as they enter Kaatsheuvel. The municipality of Loon op Zand seizes this opportunity to enhance the area not only for tourists but also for local residents. The greener design ensures that the Efteling magic is felt even before reaching the park gates.
Stronger Link Between Efteling and Kaatsheuvel
The project extends beyond the Europalaan. A closer connection between Efteling and the Kaatsheuvel town center will take shape through giant flowerpots that will green up the center. These create a leisure-oriented link to the theme park, potentially via a walking route.
