Efteling Wonder Hotel Opened Yesterday

On April 18, 2025, the Efteling Wonder Hotel welcomed guests after extensive renovations. Located in the Efteling theme park, this reimagined accommodation captivates visitors with its enchanting, airship-inspired design.

A Reimagined Icon

Since 1992, the former Efteling Hotel has been a landmark with its distinctive four towers. Now, following a comprehensive renovation, it reopens as the Efteling Wonder Hotel. The guest rooms were modernized in 2021, and the exterior was redesigned in 2023. The ground floor, known as the Parterre, now boasts a fresh look. The new name reflects its unique theming, setting it apart from other Efteling accommodations. Offering 124 rooms and suites with 495 beds, every stay includes breakfast and unlimited park access.

Enchanting Design and Immersive Concept

The Efteling Wonder Hotel resembles an airship castle, operated from the bustling “Maschinenzentrale” on the ground floor. While this area hums with activity, the dreamy rooms and fairytale suites provide a tranquil retreat. Decorative elements like clouds, stars, and meridians evoke journeys through the skies. A new evening entertainment feature stars Jules Verreweg, the “Wunderfahrer.” Together with children, he fills dream orbs that produce dream steam, symbolically lifting the airship castle.

Jokie & Jet Themed Suite

During the renovation, the former Circus Suite was transformed into the vibrant Jokie & Jet Themen-Suite. Inspired by the Carnaval Festival attraction, this 53-square-meter suite accommodates five guests. Its colorful design incorporates familiar elements from the beloved ride, creating a playful atmosphere.

Culinary Tales at Restaurant Saga

Open to all visitors, Restaurant Saga weaves Efteling stories into its dishes. The menu reflects the park’s magic, inviting guests to embark on a unique gastronomic journey.
