Earlier this month, technical issues with the safety bars of Symbolica emerged, leading to a temporary shutdown of the attraction. Since October 8th, the ride has been operational again. However, there's a catch: Not all of the
Fantasievaarders, as the cars are affectionately termed, are currently in service.
A park spokesperson announced, "Some of our Fantasievaarders are currently undergoing maintenance, leading to restrictions in the tour choices." For visitors, this means they no longer have the autonomy to choose among the three different tours on offer.
What Visitors Should Know About Symbolica
The Symbolica attraction, a gem of Efteling, immerses visitors into the
Palace of Fantasy. Inside, the magical jester Pardoes guides them through three distinct adventures: Music Tour, Heroes Tour, and Treasure Tour. Typically, visitors select their desired adventure at the outset, but current technical constraints have temporarily sidelined this option.
