Starting next week, the Efteling amusement park will adjust the operating hours of its iconic Python roller coaster. This popular attraction will be open to visitors from Monday to Friday only between 1:00 PM and 4:30 PM. This temporary schedule adjustment, lasting until February 3rd, is due to upcoming maintenance work.
Adjustment Due to Maintenance Requirements
The decision for the limited opening hours stems from the need to restrict the number of rides before the roller coaster undergoes maintenance. Originally, these maintenance works were scheduled for the past few weeks. However, a delay in these plans has resulted in Python not operating at full capacity currently.
Operational Changes in Detail
Of Python's two trains, one is already out of service. The remaining train is available for a limited number of rides before comprehensive maintenance becomes inevitable. This strategic reduction of operating hours allows the park to continue offering the roller coaster experience to visitors daily, albeit for a limited time.
Additional Limitations in the Park
Visitors to Efteling should note that other attractions such as Joris en de Draak, Piraña, De Vliegende Hollander, Raveleijn, Kleuterhof, and Sleeping Beauty are currently not operational. Furthermore, the Steam Train and Villa Volta are experiencing temporary operational interruptions.
Return to Regular Operations
