On March 11, 2025, Efteling announces a major milestone: the Efteling Grand Hotel has reached its highest point. A 4-meter spire was placed atop the large dome on the roof, bringing the luxury hotel to a height of 39 meters. Starting Friday, August 1, 2025, guests can stay overnight within the park’s boundaries for the first time.
Opening Date and Booking Details
The Efteling Grand Hotel will welcome guests on August 1, 2025. Pre-sale bookings begin today for registered guests, while reservations open to everyone on March 17 via the hotel’s website. Nicole Scheffers, Director of Park & Resorts, emphasizes, “With the Efteling Grand Hotel, we’re building for the future and aiming for international growth. From August 1, we’ll offer our guests top-quality luxury within the Efteling world.” This project aligns with the park’s vision to attract a global audience.
A Milestone for Team and Park
The highest point was achieved under the watchful eyes of numerous construction colleagues. Scheffers calls it a special moment: “Over the past months, immense effort went into this. Celebrating this milestone with all the colleagues who contributed so much is truly unique.” Reaching 39 meters marks a key step forward and reflects the project’s progress.
Luxury Residence at Efteling’s Heart
Spanning 7 floors and 106 meters wide, the Efteling Grand Hotel will be the largest hotel in the park. It features 140 rooms and suites with a total of 644 beds. Guests can unwind in the swimming pool with spa facilities. Two distinctive restaurants, a cozy coffee bar, and the Arcadeau souvenir shop will be open to both hotel guests and park visitors. The residence promises an atmosphere of grandeur, where adults and children alike can explore Efteling’s magic.
