In Mexicoland, Djurs Sommerland unveils Camino del Sol, Denmark’s first adventure trail. Spanning half a kilometer, it features ancient temples, labyrinths, cascading waterfalls, and deep gorges. Guests balance across swaying rope bridges, climb towering structures, and evade cunning Maya traps while jaguars lurk nearby. Developed with experts from England and the Netherlands, the trail blends physical challenges with immersive theming. Visitors get close to Juvelen, Denmark’s longest rollercoaster at 1,000 meters and 85 kilometers per hour, and El Grito, crowned “Best New Ride in Europe 2024.” Nielsen describes Camino del Sol as a unique experience, far beyond typical obstacle courses.

Djurs Sommerland After Dark: Autumn Holiday Magic

From October 11 to 19, 2025, Djurs Sommerland transforms into a Halloween spectacle with 40,000 pumpkins, rattling skeletons, giggling witches, and giant spiders. Guests explore haunted houses like HekseSkolen and GræskarFabrikken or ride attractions as often as they wish. A new highlight, Djurs Sommerland After Dark, runs from October 11 to 18, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The park dazzles with vibrant lights and colors as thrill-seekers race through the night on rides. Nielsen promises a glittering adventure for families, captivating over 100,000 visitors during the autumn holidays.

Adventures Across Nine Themed Worlds

Djurs Sommerland boasts nine themed areas, whisking guests from Caribbean seas to Mexican jungles. Dinosaurland thrills with 25 lifelike dinosaurs and six rides, while Bondegårdsland charms with croaking frogs, grunting pigs, and chugging tractors, perfect for younger children. Areas like Piratland, Vikingeland, Wild Asia, Westernland, and a sprawling waterpark offer endless variety. The rollercoaster Piraten hits 90 kilometers per hour, while little adventurers love Den Vilde Hønsejagt or the T-Rex Family Coaster.
