Construction of the new area is set to begin later this year, as announced by Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences, during the “Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase” at the D23 Expo. Spanning 11 hectares, this new area will be one of the larger expansions of the park, featuring various attractions and dining options.

Indiana Jones Returns: A Unique Adventure

The centerpiece of “Pueblo Esperanza” will be a new Indiana Jones experience, distinct from any other attractions featuring the famous archaeologist. In this new adventure, visitors will have the chance to explore a perfectly preserved Mayan temple discovered by Indiana Jones. The journey takes guests deep into the temple as they search for a mythical creature. Culinary Highlight: The Hacienda

In addition to the new Indiana Jones attraction, “Pueblo Esperanza” will feature one of the largest quick-service restaurants in Walt Disney World Resort. The “Hacienda” will be a central element of the new area, offering a wide range of dishes inspired by the culture and cuisine of the tropical Americas.
