When Halloween meets Christmas, the outcome is bound to be magical, especially at Disneyland Park. This winter, Jack Skellington, the protagonist of "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas," has given the renowned Haunted Mansion a festive-yet-spooky touch. Imagine Jack as "Sandy Claws," infusing the spirit of Halloween Town, transforming the holiday festivities.

A special highlight of this seasonal revamp is an impressive gingerbread house in the Grand Hall. Standing tall at almost 10 feet, this work of art represents a playful mausoleum, seemingly trapping a ghost inside. The eye-catching features include eerie cotton candy apparitions and skillfully crafted gingerbread chains.

Some spine-chilling insights into the Haunted Mansion Holiday:

- The façade of the Haunted Mansion is illuminated by over 400 candles, creating a ghostly ambiance in the dark, complemented by over 100 glowing jack-o-lanterns.
- Surprise appearances by Jack Skellington and his loyal ghost dog Zero add to the excitement. Both pop up in animated sequences, bringing their own brand of festive mischief.
- There's a unique Disney lineage connection: Kim Irvine, the Executive Creative Director at Walt Disney Imagineering, portrays the floating psychic, Madame Leota. This character was originally created by her mother, the famed Disney Legend, Leota Toombs.
- In the Séance Room, Madame Leota's "13 Days of Christmas" take center stage, represented on 13 rotating fortune cards.
- Every year, a dedicated team of Disney craftsmen, ranging from carpenters to confectioners, dedicate themselves to crafting the awe-inspiring gingerbread house. Its enticing aroma spreads throughout the Grand Hall, tantalizing both Happy Haunts and visitors.
- A wintery wonderland awaits visitors in the graveyard area, covered with 7,500 square feet of snow, complemented by countless shining decorations.
- The count of animated figures has been enhanced: From man-eating wreaths to vampire teddy bears, numerous spooky additions enrich the attraction.

This unique blend of Halloween and Christmas magic invites all Disneyland visitors to experience a familiar attraction in an entirely new light.
