Disneyland Paris is rolling out the red carpet for its annual pass holders:
With the so-called "Pop Up Surprises", the amusement park allows subscribers to meet captivating Disney characters in a specially designed setting.
Where once annual passes were purchased and renewed – in the former Bureau Passeport Annuel – Tinkerbell, the winged heroine from "Peter Pan", and Oswald, the cheerful predecessor of Mickey Mouse, now come to life. Accompanying Oswald is his loyal friend Ortensia. Together, they offer visitors an unforgettable photo opportunity against magical backdrops.
Strategically located between the Fantasyland and Discoveryland sections, this special meetup point is right next to the Constellations souvenir shop.
While this offer is exclusively reserved for annual pass holders, Disneyland Paris emphasizes that a reservation is strictly necessary. The recent restructuring of subscription prices led to controversial discussions. Many loyal fans expressed their displeasure over rising prices and simultaneous removal of various perks. For context: The current highest-tier pass comes at a hefty 699 Euros.
With initiatives like the "Pop Up Surprises", Disneyland Paris aims to strengthen its bond with its most devoted fans and respond constructively to criticism. It remains intriguing to see what further steps the amusement park will take in the future.
