Disneyland Paris invites families and friends to experience the most enchanting Christmas ever. With dazzling decorations, winter-themed shows, and unforgettable encounters with beloved Disney characters like Mickey Mouse and Santa Claus, the Christmas season at the park promises a unique experience. From the sparkling 24-meter-tall Christmas tree on Main Street, U.S.A., to festive dining options and exclusive souvenirs, the atmosphere is filled with holiday magic. The celebrations begin on October 1, 2024, and continue until December 31, 2024.

Mickey's Dazzling Christmas Parade: A Spectacular Highlight

Mickey's Dazzling Christmas Parade, winner of the prestigious Brass Ring Award in 2022, remains the highlight of the season in 2024. Performed twice daily along Main Street, U.S.A., the parade features nearly 90 performers in dazzling costumes and elaborate floats. These floats stand over 6 meters tall and weigh between 12 and 15 tons. As night falls, the parade illuminates the streets with a magical display of lights, adding even more enchantment to the festive atmosphere. The custom costumes include over 3,000 individual pieces, 700 pairs of shoes, and 90 hair accessories, making it a visually stunning experience.

Magical decorations and snow on Main Street

At the heart of the park, a 24-meter-tall Christmas tree adorned with nearly 1,000 ornaments greets visitors as they enter. Main Street, U.S.A., is transformed into a winter wonderland, where snow falls several times a day. This enchanting atmosphere extends across the entire park, from the shops and restaurants to the beautifully decorated Disneyland Hotel.

In the castle courtyard, guests are welcomed once a day by Aurora and Prince Philip from Sleeping Beauty. Other beloved Disney characters, including Chip 'n' Dale, Winnie the Pooh, Stitch, and Jack Skellington, can be seen in festive attire. Santa Claus himself is also present to collect last-minute Christmas wishes before setting off on his annual journey.

Festive Shows and Musical Highlights

In the Videopolis Theatre, the musical “Let's Sing Christmas” invites guests to join in singing traditional Christmas carols such as Petit Papa Noël and Jingle Bells. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and a new friend will be on hand to help spread the festive cheer, creating a joyful and heartwarming atmosphere.

Another magical moment is the Disney Princesses Holiday Season Celebration. Once a day, Aurora, Cinderella, Belle, Tiana, Jasmine, Rapunzel, Ariel, and Snow White gather beneath Sleeping Beauty Castle to perform an elegant waltz, adding a royal touch to the festive season.

Exclusive Christmas Products and Souvenirs

Visitors can shop for a wide variety of exclusive Christmas products, including a Loungefly® backpack shaped like a Christmas mailbox and Mickey and Minnie plush toys in festive outfits. The special Disneyland Paris edition of Monopoly® is also a popular item, offering a unique way to bring home a piece of Disney magic. Many of these items, along with other holiday-themed merchandise, can be found at La Boutique du Château, located inside Sleeping Beauty Castle, which remains open year-round.

Culinary Delights and Christmas Markets

The Chalets Gourmand in both Walt Disney Studios Park and Disneyland Park offer visitors a range of seasonal treats. These charmingly decorated chalets serve delicious regional specialties such as Reblochon tartiflette, pretzels, and mulled wine. Festive desserts include chestnut mousse with blackcurrant filling and Mickey-shaped gingerbread cookies.

On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, restaurants across the park will offer special holiday menus, making these festive meals a perfect addition to the season’s celebrations.

Christmas at the Disneyland Hotel

The Disneyland Hotel offers a magical holiday experience for the entire family. One of the highlights is the new lobby show featuring the Keeper of Time and the Winter Light. Children can learn magical words to unlock the Book of Time and release the Winter Light, illuminating the grand Christmas tree in the hotel lobby.

Children can also enjoy the “My Royal Dream” experience, where they can be transformed into princesses or princes. The Royal Banquet Buffet and Fleur de Lys Bar offer gourmet dining with special Christmas-inspired menus and exclusive drinks to complete the holiday experience.

Spectacular New Year’s Eve Celebration at Disneyland Paris

On December 31, 2024, Disneyland Paris invites guests to ring in 2025 in the most magical way. The park will remain open until 1 AM, and a spectacular fireworks display at Sleeping Beauty Castle will mark the arrival of the new year in grand Disney style.

Disney VoluntEARS: Spreading Christmas Joy to Children in Hospitals

As part of its annual tradition, Disneyland Paris’ Disney VoluntEARS spread the magic of Christmas to children in hospitals across France. Over 80 pediatric hospital wards will receive thousands of gifts this year, ensuring that the holiday spirit reaches those who need it most. This cherished tradition brings the joy of Disneyland Paris to children who are unable to visit the park during the festive season.
