The magical kingdom of Disneyland Paris announces impressive additions in celebration of its 30th anniversary in 2024. With the introductions of "Frozen" and "Winnie the Pooh" to Le Pays des Contes de Fées, the park aims to enchant both fans of classic Disney tales and followers of newer adventures.

A New Chapter in the Book of Tales

Since its inception in 1994, Le Pays des Contes de Fées has always held a special place in visitors' hearts. The boat ride, journeying through miniature recreations of renowned Disney landscapes, builds upon a tradition that began in 1956 with the Storybook Land Canal Boats in Disneyland, California. However, Paris added its unique touch by integrating distinct scenes such as the Night on Bald Mountain from "Fantasia" or Rapunzel’s Tower from "Tangled".

Arendelle in the Heart of Paris

Before visitors are invited to the Walt Disney Studios Park to experience Arendelle in all its splendor, a miniature version of this magical realm will be found in Fantasyland. The detailed depiction of the North Mountain, topped by Elsa's shimmering ice palace, promises to be a genuine attraction highlight. The presence of Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and other beloved characters enhances the experience, offering visitors a taste of what awaits them in the larger Arendelle exhibit.

The Hundred Acre Woods Finds a Cozy Corner

Few story landscapes are as warm and inviting as the Hundred Acre Woods, home to Winnie the Pooh and his endearing friends. Close to the cozy dwelling of the Seven Dwarfs, another tranquil and joyful spot will take root. Travelers can expect a feeling of nostalgia and comfort as they navigate this enchanting terrain.

Keith Rector, Art Director at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, shared his thoughts on the new features:

"Bringing life-sized stories into miniature form has its own irresistible charm. Walt Disney himself was captivated by this concept, and we're honored to continue this tradition and add new chapters."

With these thrilling new additions and the planned comprehensive renovation of Le Pays des Contes de Fées, fans of Disneyland Paris can anticipate even more magic in the coming months.
