In a heartfelt gesture that captures both the allure of the amusement park and Disneyland Paris's social responsibility, the famed theme park bestowed unforgettable moments on 5,000 children this summer. This was under the initiative launched by Secours populaire known as "Vacances", aimed at gifting magical experiences to children who usually don't have the privilege of a holiday.
On the past Friday, September 1st, the final batch of these 500 children, along with their families from various regions of France, got to enjoy the park to its fullest. As an additional surprise, right in time for the upcoming school year, they were gifted backpacks brimming with school supplies. This generous act was made possible by the performers of Disneyland Paris, while the dedicated Disney VoluntEars ensured each backpack was meticulously packed. In total, over 6,000 school items found their way into the hands of grateful children.
The backdrop to this commitment is impressive: More than 250 Disney VoluntEars dedicated over 2,000 hours of volunteer work to bring joy to these children.
This initiative is just one component of the broader "Disney Future Storytellers" program. Through this, Disney aims to nurture and encourage the next generation of creative minds, storytellers, and innovators.
A place where dreams come true once again showcased its enormous heart. Disneyland Paris not only sprinkled magic but also hope and support this summer.
