A New Era in the History of Disneyland Paris
Today marks a pivotal moment for Disneyland Paris as José Alfaro Navarro and Dylan Legras are officially named the ambassadors for the resort for the years 2024 and 2025. The announcement came during a grand ceremony held at Studio D in the Walt Disney Studios Park, attended by over 500 participants, including cast members and guests.
Cultural Legacy and the Continuation of a Tradition
With their appointments, Navarro and Legras occupy a unique role in the Disneyland Paris Ambassador family. They are the 30th and 31st ambassadors and thus continue a tradition dating back to 1965. At that time, the Disney Ambassador Program was initiated with the nomination of Julie Reihm. The new ambassadors are now responsible for perpetuating the legacy of this program and for representing the diversity and talents of the resort, both internally and externally.
Impressive Careers: The Backgrounds of the New Ambassadors
The biographies of the two newly appointed ambassadors are as diverse as they are impressive, reflecting the wide range of career paths that Disneyland Paris offers its employees.
Dylan Legras: From Basic Performer to Head of Guest Relations Team
Dylan Legras, originally from Normandy, was drawn to Disneyland Paris as early as 2011. After roles in merchandising and guest flow teams, he also worked on the opening of the Ratatouille: The Adventure attraction. In 2014, he spent time in the French pavilion at Epcot in Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and later worked as cabin crew for an airline based in Dubai. Since 2021, Legras has been leading the Guest Relations Team while studying international hotel management on the side.
José Alfaro Navarro: From Disney Store to Entertainment Team
José Alfaro Navarro, on the other hand, studied journalism in Spain while working at the Disney Store in his hometown of Alicante. After a volunteer year in Poland, he too was drawn to Disneyland Paris, where his theater experience quickly led him to become a performer. After further career stations, including a stint at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, he returned to Paris in 2019. As of June 2023, Navarro serves as the deputy show coordinator.
Two Individual Career Paths, One Shared Goal
The career paths of Legras and Navarro serve as examples for the versatility and numerous development opportunities provided by employment at the resort. Both have found their way in the company through continuous performance and a steadfast belief in their professional dreams.
A Milestone in the Company's History
The appointment of the new ambassadors is not just a personal accolade for the two but also represents a significant milestone for Disneyland Paris. It showcases the resort's deep-rooted tradition of diversity and mutual respect.
In summary, it can be stated that the appointment of José Alfaro Navarro and Dylan Legras is not only a key event on the Disneyland Paris calendar but also marks the beginning of a new era in which the two ambassadors will play a pivotal role as representatives of the resort. They are thus a symbol of the company’s ongoing adaptability and development capability, as well as that of its employees.
