During the D23 Expo, significant renovations were announced for the Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris. Visitors can look forward to extensive changes that will impact both Studio 1 and the entire area from the entrance to the Front Lot.

Transformation of the Walt Disney Studios Park

Disneyland Paris is planning a comprehensive redesign of the Walt Disney Studios Park, extending from the entrance all the way to Studio 1. This ambitious project aims to transform the park into a modern outdoor film studio, immersing visitors in the atmosphere of a glamorous Hollywood premiere. The renovation work has already begun and is expected to be completed by spring 2025, promising guests an entirely new experience.

Studio 1: A Tribute to Hollywood

Studio 1 will undergo a complete transformation as part of these changes, emerging with a new identity that celebrates the golden age of Hollywood and the entertainment industry. A standout feature will be the newly designed “Hollywood Gardens Restaurant,” offering an “outdoor” Hollywood party atmosphere. The restaurant will accommodate up to 530 guests, providing a stylish setting for dining. Additionally, the exit from Studio 1 will be revamped with an impressive cinema façade and renamed “World Premiere,” allowing visitors to step directly into the world of major film events.

World Premiere Plaza: A New Era of Entertainment

After leaving Studio 1, visitors will find themselves on the newly designed World Premiere Plaza, inspired by the grand theaters of London’s West End and New York’s Broadway. This area will feature an elegant Art Deco design, complete with numerous green spaces filled with trees and shrubs, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The Plaza will become a central hub for showcasing stories from the Disney and Pixar worlds.

Further renovations in the park

In addition to the extensive work on Studio 1 and the World Premiere Plaza, the Toon Studios and the Place des Stars will also undergo major renovations. The Toon Studios will be enhanced with new green spaces, trees, and flowers, creating a more vibrant and inviting environment. The Place des Stars will also see significant changes, with the area around the Tower of Terror being used as a venue for shows, surrounded by gardens. Hollywood Boulevard will be preserved, but the current façades will be replaced with trees to offer a fresh perspective and emphasize the park's natural charm.

Timeline and Outlook

The comprehensive renovation and expansion work at the Walt Disney Studios Park is scheduled to be completed by spring 2025. Disneyland Paris aims to offer visitors an even more immersive and captivating experience, capturing the magic and glamour of Hollywood uniquely. These upcoming changes promise to bring the park into a new era, making it even more attractive for future generations.
