Progress on the Frozen-themed area at Disneyland Paris is becoming visible. Visitors to the Walt Disney Studios Park can soon embark on a magical journey to Arendelle, where the Scandinavian flair of the beloved Disney franchise is brought to life.
Scandinavian Flair Conquers Disneyland Paris
For a long time, steel and concrete dominated the construction site of Walt Disney Studios Park. But now, as the construction work progresses, the first thematic buildings are beginning to take shape. A striking, colorful building, which will serve as the exit of the Frozen boat dark ride, already stands out. Right next to it, the iconic castle of the Kingdom of Arendelle is being erected, presenting itself picturesquely by the water. Opposite the exit, an impressive scaffolding construction is emerging as the entrance to the attraction, topped by a large bell tower.
Impressive Progress on the Dark Ride
The curiosity about the Frozen-themed area is further fueled by photos recently published on LinkedIn by a construction company. These offer insights into the construction of the dark ride, including the ride channel and an imposing rock wall that hides the building from the visitors' view. Although an official opening date has yet to be announced, the published images are making Disney fans' hearts beat faster.
A Bridge to Hong Kong Disneyland
The Frozen expansion in Paris is not the first project of its kind. A comparable themed area was already opened in Hong Kong Disneyland, both conceived by the renowned Dutch Disney designer Michel den Dulk. This parallel enhances the anticipation and underscores the global significance of the Frozen franchise for Disney parks.
Anticipation for the Magical World of Arendelle
The Frozen-themed area at Disneyland Paris promises to be a highlight for visitors from around the world. With each visible progress, anticipation for the official opening grows. Visitors can look forward to a unique experience that takes them right into the heart of Arendelle, surrounded by authentic Scandinavian flair and the beloved characters from Frozen.
