Chessington World of Adventures has announced that the rides Zufari, Tiger Rock, and Rattlesnake will remain closed after over 60 days of low visitor turnout this year.
Cost-Saving Measures
The popular amusement park resort, Chessington World of Adventures, will not operate three of its main attractions on selected days for cost reasons. This decision affects Zufari, a safari tour; Tiger Rock, a water roller coaster; and Rattlesnake, a mine train roller coaster.
Published Details
According to a notice on the park's official website, the measure particularly includes weekdays during school terms in the months of April, May, June, September, and October. The month of June will be significantly impacted, with the attractions closed for 13 days. No closures are planned for the main holiday months of July and August.
Reopening of the Tomb Blaster
Amid these announcements, there is also good news for visitors: the dark ride Tomb Blaster, popular with both young and old, is set to reopen on April 20th after renovations.
Review
Last year, Chessington was named the best amusement park in the Greater London area by RideRater. This accolade underscores the park's quality and popularity, which is expected to remain unaffected by the planned closures.
