Bobbejaanland Halloween 2024: New Shows, Parade, and Spooky Fun for All Ages

As autumn arrives, Bobbejaanland once again prepares for its popular Halloween season. From October 12 to November 11, 2024, the amusement park in Lichtaart, Belgium, transforms into a chilling haunt. Visitors can look forward to seven haunted houses, four themed Halloween zones, and brand-new shows created specifically for this event. With two new shows and a parade, there’s exciting entertainment for both thrill-seekers and families alike.

Illusion Show “The Curse of Houdini”

One of the main attractions of this year’s Halloween season is the illusion show The Curse of Houdini. This elaborate production focuses on the legendary escapologist Harry Houdini, whose secrets and mysterious curses continue to cause unrest after his death. Directed by Kobe Van Herwegen and featuring the talented illusionist Alfredo Lorenzo on stage, this show promises to captivate the audience. The arena hosting the show can accommodate up to 550 visitors per performance, ensuring an unforgettable spectacle filled with suspense and magic.

Hypnosis with “Professor Pickart”

For fans of hypnosis, there’s another new feature: Professor Pickart. This hypnosis show, presented by Patrick Pickart in the Music Halle, offers a fascinating experience where spectators can witness the mysterious art of hypnosis up close. Set in Desperado City, one of Bobbejaanland’s many themed worlds, the show creates a unique atmosphere sure to mesmerize the audience.

Halloween Parade with a New Theme Song

In addition to the shows, visitors can enjoy a brand-new Halloween parade. The parade features familiar and new spooky characters from the park’s haunted houses and Halloween zones. The spectacle is set to the original theme song Het is Halloween, composed by Jérémie Vrielinck, who previously created Bobbejaanland’s theme song Een Hoed vol Avontuur. Now, he brings the eerie spirit of Halloween to life with this new musical accompaniment.

Family-Friendly Zone “Wonderland”

Even the youngest visitors will find plenty to enjoy during Halloween at Bobbejaanland. The family-friendly zone of Wonderland invites children to explore a colorful world inspired by Alice and her friends. One of the highlights is the Mad Tea Party, where little ones can pose for unique photos with their favorite Halloween characters.

Special Events during the “Nocturnes”

On five Halloween evenings, the park remains open until 9 p.m., giving visitors the chance to attend the Nocturnes. These special nights are highlighted by the fiery Devil’s Dance show by the lake, a pyrotechnic extravaganza that blends seamlessly with the eerie nighttime atmosphere. Additionally, the Epic Party in the Land of Legends will keep guests entertained throughout the evening.

With seven haunted houses, four Halloween zones, and various new shows and attractions, Bobbejaanland’s Halloween season in 2024 offers an exciting and diverse program for horror enthusiasts of all ages.
