As the chilly winds of October sweep across the UK, the Alton Towers Resort is gearing up once again to send shivers down its guests' spines. But this year, the resort has a twist in store: in collaboration with YouTube phenomenon Daz Games, a groundbreaking haunted experience is unveiled.

An Innovative Haunted Maze

Daz Black, the driving force behind the successful YouTube channel "Daz Games", is no stranger to the online realm. With an impressive following of over eight million "Dazzlers" and billions of views, he has established himself as a leading influencer in the industry.

This year, he merges his creative flair with Alton Towers' expertise to present "Daz Games: PANIC". This gripping adventure fuses the concept of the traditional escape room with a live-action haunted maze. Within a mere seven minutes, participants must locate two unique symbols and make their exit. But the real challenge lies in facing the physical and mental trials within this short time frame as the clock relentlessly ticks away.

What Scarefest 2023 Offers

In addition to "Daz Games: PANIC", guests will also be introduced to the newly launched "Burial Grounds". Set in an outdoor haunted zone shadowed by the imposing Wicker Man, visitors will be greeted by a cult obsessed with the legend of the Beornen.

For those familiar with the dark tales of Altonville, there’s news from the mines. The revamped "Altonville Mine Tours – Tiny's Revenge" is buzzing once more, with rumours that the notorious Tiny still lurks in its depths.

However, Scarefest wouldn’t be complete without its staple favourites:

- The Attic: Terror of the Towers transports guests to the historic ruins where the legend of the vengeful "Governess" still lingers.
- Darkest Depths invites brave souls for a haunting sea voyage aboard the notorious Mutiny, while The Invitation welcomes visitors to a haunted mausoleum.
- A family-friendly experience, Trick O Treat Town with HARIBO, offers a perpetual Halloween town where guests can choose between tricks and treats.

More than Just Scares

Beyond the gloomy attractions, Scarefest also boasts family-friendly entertainment. With programs like Alton Ancestors, Freaky Five, and the CBeebies Land Monster Ball, there’s something on offer for guests of all ages.

An Unparalleled Resort Experience

For those seeking relaxation after a thrilling day of scares, the Alton Towers Resort offers various themed accommodations - from the child-friendly CBeebies Land Hotel to the eccentric Alton Towers Hotel. And as a bonus: overnight guests get an additional day in the park free of charge.

Scarefest will run from the 7th to 8th of October and will then continue daily from the 13th to 31st of October. Interested parties can now book their tickets and brace themselves for an unforgettable fright.
